First Day In Rome

.

Aloha,
What a wonder day I got to share with my wonderful friends Evelyn Ryan and Jerry and Janis Dahl. I had not seen my friend Evelyn in over 12 years but once we saw each other, it was like time had not passed and we just started talking and laughing about old times. Evelyn and I got to know each other when I lived in San Clemente CA where we both attended Christian Mission Church. Jerry and Janis are as most of you know are corner stone’s of Hope Chapel.

The flight was long but very much worth it! We got checked into Hotel Nord Nuova Roma and before long were on our way to dinner with Jerry and Janis to the Trevi Fountains. The cab ride was fun and frightening. As we walked down the cobble stone streets to the fountains Janis got goose bumps and all of us had our breath taken away at the magnificent sight. What a picturesque display in the evening. We had dinner at a street side cafĂ© and enjoyed the traveling musician’s keeping us entertained as we enjoyed a marvelous dinner before strolling back to the center area of the fountains eating our gelato and just taking in the splendor and tossing in a coin to assure our return to Rome.
