City Sightseeing Rome and Piazzza Navona

Aloha,

The weather today was gorgeous and an ideal day to get on a city sightseeing bus and get the lay of the land. The pictures from the bus tour today will give you a glimpse of what is ahead in the days to come as Evelyn and I decide what to look at next. Jerry and Janis took a boot ride on Tiber River and caught up with us for dinner at Piazza Navona.

After a full day of sightseeing we were surprised to find that our hotel room door was left open by the cleaning crew but don’t worry nothing was missing except the Rolex watch and the Louie Vuitton (LV) purse that we were dreaming about. Besides we had no room in our luggage anyways!!! What can I tell you, neither one of us have learned to pack light.

We arrived at the Piazza Navona for a late dinner after taking a local bus ride that provided for a somewhat exciting or should I say out of the ordinary ride as we girls experienced the admiration from the Italian men. Yes, girls the men appreciate women and are not afraid to let you know it.

The fountains were stunning and very magical. We eat dinner across for the Neptune fountain where the water is flowing from the original channeled Rome aqueducts. The square was surrounded with great street music and artist making the picture perfect setting for a perfect evening. Dinner was great as we enjoyed pizza and tiramisu then on our way to catch the bus back enjoyed a gelato (hazelnut) yum. Evelyn did not get to partake as she was full from having two dinners. We have to know Evelyn to appreciate her great love for food!!!

In His Love and Service

PS I was talking with some people from Canada on the city sightseeing bus and they ask for my business card! Can I call this work????
